Honestly, I thought it was one of our better games in quite a while, which, yes, is a really sad indictment of our season. Not that long ago I would have been depressed this was the best we could do on Mo and Andy's last game, today I'm relieved it wasn't worse so they could get a good send off without a ton of negativity due to performance.

With Slot, you can see he's reactive. Next season he's gonna try and do an Arsenal, set pieces. This game, no momentum. Get on top, slow down, let em into the game. There's no excuses, but Frimpong is no way good enough. As for the lads we lost today, impossible to replace, and Slot has a lot to answer to for them going.

I’m sorry but watching us today it’s like watching a Ballard rather than heavy metal. No wonder Salah wants out.
All the Slot in brigade get used to this dross if he stays, which is looking more and more likely.
I totally blame the owners for allowing this to continue, and I’ll say it again: keeping Slot shows zero ambition.

I thought it was quite telling that Isak didn't come on, says a lot that our coaches don't think he'll make a contribution. The team that ended the game, Gomez aside, as he won't be here, is a shadow of the teams we've had in recent years and has no chance of winning anything next season.

Even adding Ekitike or Jacquet into the mix won't make enough difference. We're light in four key positions, RB, centre mid, right wing, and arguably left wing as well, even though Rio looks a prospect.
