The market for goal scoring wingers is pretty poor, Kvaratskhelia, Semenyo, Olise (I don't see him as world class at all) are some decent options who come to mind. I'm pretty ambivalent regarding Diomande, don't see the comparisons to Mane at all, in fact he looks closer to Olise. Way softer and less dynamic than Mane, the both of them. He's probably the first player since Darwin where even the YouTube highlights don't get me excited.
However I'm not really focused on his purchase, there's no one who's going to come in that's going to get anywhere near replacing Salah and I don't expect anyone to. I think the thing that is massively being overlooked is the fact Salah was the ever present, very rarely unavailable. When he was, we had only Frimpong, unless we are looking at a backup winger also, we need to keep Elliott as the backup.
I'm more interested in who we bring in the defensive side, the midfield and right back positions. We need muscle, height and some genuine bite.
Obviously we want a good deep squad, however the only players I'd not want to see leave are VVD, Ali, Rio, Kerkez and Isak. The rest, utterly replaceable. Players like Szobo, Ekitike, yeah they did well, but their attitudes are the exact thing you don't want in a dressing room. They've got the Ronaldo egos, without the Ronaldo impact. Jones is a squad player, if the issue is time on the pitch, move him on, he got the time he deserved.
There's always a player who comes to the fore in a new season, it will be interesting to see who it will be next season. I've got a suspicion it will be one of the potential 'boring' defensive players rather than an exciting new attacker.

Elliot has one year left on his deal. If the club isn't going to offer a new deal, then he moves on. Same with Jones. Personally, I see both going, along with Gakpo and Macca. You are correct that the winger market is short on talent. I mean Chelsea paid £50m for Gittens. We need the following:

We have 2 strikers in Isak and Ekitike, Bobby, and to a point Mane sacrificed their games to push the "mo boat" goal tally up.
We are clearly moving toward a striker focus, away from goalscoring wingers. We probably want the wingers contributing up to 8 goals a season and 10 assists, with the main striker getting 20+, secondary 15 goals, and Wirtz up to 10.
This is a better balance than having 60% of our goals from 3 players as it typically was with Mane, Bobby and Salah.
There's nothing wrong with moving away from goalscoring wingers.

In reality, anything can happen, but written down, it's not too bad with 4 out and 4 in.

If Ali stays, I think Mama will leave, probably a loan. There's a lot of rumours on Ordonez as well, so that might indicate Gomez or VVD may go. It would be amazing if you're close to being right though, no8, only three title winners left in the first eleven, which should set us up well for the next two to three years.

Ed2 always used to slap down these lists because of all the hidden costs involved: agent fees, sign on fees, loyalty fees to players who we sell, sell on clauses etc.

Like most of that squad, but we cannot afford to let Gakpo and Chiesa leave and not replace with one. Even with Gakpo and Chiesa staying, we need a RW and LW forwards who can also potentially cover the centre.
Even with Isak, Diomande and Barcola as our attack, we couldn’t possibly go into next season with not Rio as a sub until Jan/Feb when Ekitike is back.

The style of play matters hugely. If we play attacking, aggressive football, he will buy himself time with the fans. If we are making progress in getting closer to Arse, PSG et al., he will buy time with the owners.
