If the offer is £140m, I'd actually sell Szoboszlai for that figure. With all the wingers we're targeting, much to my dismay, it does seem like Wirtz is seen as a no.10 long term. Iraola typically plays two DMs. I'm not sure Szoboszlai plays there effectively.

So you've essentially got Dom and Wirtz competing for the 10 role, and they're both too good and on too much money to sit on the bench. Elliott also might come back to compete for that role, and I also think it is the best position for Kieran Morrison long term.



To clarify, I don't want to sell Dom, but if we got £140m it's the Coutinho money all over again when we had Coutinho often benching Mane before we sold him to strengthen 2 or 3 much weaker areas in the team. You can reinvest that £140m for Dom in two top quality players; say a RB and DM? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I can't see us going in for Anderson as City have already had a bid of 120million rejected. There's no way we are paying anywhere near that, he's good but not worth the money Forest want.
